This Privacy Policy describes how Landscape Photo Predictor ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent and secure experience while using the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data (GPS)

With your permission, we collect your precise GPS location to provide personalised weather forecasts, sunrise/sunset times, and photography recommendations. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device settings. Please note that revoking permission may cause certain features to malfunction.

1.2 Advertising Identifier

The App uses Google AdMob for advertising. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android; IDFA on iOS) to serve personalised ads and measure ad performance. To opt out of personalised ads:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Forecast Service

Your GPS coordinates are transmitted via encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our cloud computing server (hosted on Google Cloud, Asia-Pacific region) for real-time astronomical and weather analysis. Within the App, forecast results are cached on your device for approximately 60 minutes for the same location before a new request is made. Separately, our server automatically generates operational logs of incoming requests (including the coordinates and timestamp of each request) for system stability, debugging, and abuse-prevention purposes; these server logs are automatically deleted after a maximum of 7 days and are accessible only to the developer.

2.2 AI Deep Report

When you choose to unlock an AI Deep Photography Report, your location and local weather data are submitted to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for analysis. This service is governed by its own privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

2.3 Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to serve ads, supporting free access to core features. Ad-related data is managed by Google under their Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

3. Data Security & Storage

GPS data is used primarily for real-time computation. On-device forecast caching lasts approximately 60 minutes; server-side operational logs (including coordinates and timestamps) are retained for a maximum of 7 days for debugging and security purposes, then automatically deleted, and are accessible only to the developer.
We do not sell or rent your location data to any third party.
All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.
The App has no account system and does not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You may revoke GPS permission at any time in your device settings.
You may opt out of personalised ads via your device settings (see Section 1.2).
